This room is approximately 24 feet square with a 16 food ceiling of beautiful teak stained notty pine and Brazilian cherrywood floors. It has a gas fireplace with a unique granite face, a maroon leather sectional with two classic area rugs, leather recliners, rocking chairs at the fireplace and a large flat screen HD TV with home theatre surround sound. Two French doors open onto a riverside deck.
Banquet Area
A rustic banquet table seating 12 is located between the Great Room and the bar. Seating is expandable to serve up to 20 diners. This area is subtly lighted by Tiffany wall sconces and is decorated with two bronze sculptures. Like the Great Room the banquet area boasts knotty pine ceilings and Brazilian cherrywood floors.
Sauna and Spa
The Finlandia cedar-lined sauna is accessed from the Great Room. A Hot Springs Spa is located on a covered deck that can be accessed from either the Library of the Wood River Room. Robes are provided for guests who wish to use either or both sauna and spa.
Library
The library consists of three book cases stocked with a wide variety of books and publications ranging from subjects penned by classic authors to fishing, hunting, ecotourism, and computers to cooking. It is an eclectic assemblage.
Bar
The bar is adjacent to the banquet area. It seats up to fiveguests, has a granite counter top and enjoys views of the river and the Cascades. Liars dice is reported to be the game of choice in this part of the Retreat.
Cascade Room and Viewing Deck on the third floor
At the top of the circular staircase on the third floor you will find the Cascade Room complete with a 360 degree viewing deck. This room has a custom hardwood floor, tiffany sconce lights, a couch that can be converted into a queen size bed, a game table and large flat screen TV with home theatre surround sound.. There is also a half bath on this floor. The views from the deck provide panoramic scenes of the entire area and change dramatically with the seasons. This part of the Retreat is an especially exciting place to be to view the annual meteor visitation to this part of the country or view one of the spectacular lightening storms that happen from time to time.
Kitchen
Function and form describes this kitchen. A six burner gas range and three ovens set the scene. Supporting appliances include microwave, dishwasher, two sinks, large refrigerator/freezer, juice machine, bread maker and coffee machine. Brazialian cherrywood floors and striking granite counter tops accent a garden window with live herb pots. This about says it all.
Williamson River Room
This bedroom has an ornate four poster king size bed with a very high quality mattress. It also has a 32” TV, and is tastefully decorated.
Wood River Room
Located on the first floor, this room also has a queen size bed with memory foam rubber mattress. The sliding doors in this room open to a small private deck with a view of the river, Klamath Lake and the eastern and northern side of the Cascade Mountains. It also includes a bathroom complete with shower.
Klamath Lake Room
This bedroom has a queen size bed with a luxury memory foam rubber mattress. This room is also tastefully decorated. The French doors open to a covered deck where the Spa is located. The spacious bathroom in this room also includes a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, granite counter tops, large shower with granite walls and towel warmer.
